Michael Lynn Perry

Michael “Mike” Perry age 70 passed away on June 20, 2020 at Sunrise Hospital, Las Vegas, NV. unexpectedly following a serious surgery. He had been a long time resident of Las Vegas, NV. Mike was born in Lansing, MI on January 10, 1950 to Neil and “Katie” Katherine Perry. He had two brother’s Steve and Dave and sister Pam.

Mike was married in 1969 to Mary (Harrison) Perry and had 4 girls (Cristine, Eileen, Jody, Jamie) and son Ross Perry. They resided in Manton, MI.

After divorcing in 1989, Mike then found his soul mate and partner for life at age 39 and married Leanne (Rastello) Perry (formerly of Manton, MI). The two moved to Las Vegas, NV in the late 90’s where the currently resided at Mike’s untimely and unexpected death.

In his younger years he really enjoyed racing cars. He still loved going to races and car shows. Mike had graduated from Manton High School in 1968. He ended up doing misc. jobs until he found his passion as an electrician. He worked for his brother’s Steve Company for many years until moving to Las Vegas, NV. He continued to be an electrician until his retirement.

After retiring he enjoyed many hobbies, including coin collecting, watching sports, playing video poker, good food and spending time with family, friends, and “furbaby”.He also had a telescope and he and his wife enjoyed “star gazing” where now he’s shining bright for all those who loved and continue to miss him to see. “You’ll always be my shining star”, my heart, my love.
