Michael Steven Silket

Michael Steven Silket, the son of Ullis & Helen Silket (parents who both preceded him in death), was born on June 20, 1958, at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. He was the only sibling to Craig Dale English (older brother who also preceded him in death).

In 1964, Michael moved to Southern California with his Mother and brother; Where he attended Baldwin Hills Elementary School, Louis Pasteur Jr. High School, Hamilton Sr. High & Los Angeles Sr. High Schools. Soon after high school, Michael joined the U.S. Army and Served Honorably in the 182nd Airborne Div.

Upon exit from the military, he decided to relocate to Las Vegas, NV, and further his education by attending Radiology Technologist Training to become an “X-Ray Technician”. Which lead to his nickname “Doc” (Due to his wearing a “WHITE COAT” back and forth to class).

He leaves to mourn, Family, Friends, Lover’s and Acquaintance’s that will Celebrate His Life & Cherish fond memories of time spent with him.

A committal service for Michael will be held Monday, July 26, 2021 from 1:20 PM to 2:00 PM at Southern Nevada Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veteran's Memorial Drive, Boulder City, NV 89005.
