Final Words
I do not pretend to understand the nature of it, nor fully grasp how it stumbled upon me, but one of the few innate gifts I was given in my life was the ability to create deep and meaningful connections with people. I like to believe it was born from my intrinsic desire to care and be in service to others. From this gift, I am grateful and fortunate enough to consider a vast number of you my family and friends. Through our interactions, big and small, I have learned a great number of lessons about life and what it means to be a decent human being, arguably the highest ideal. As I stand at the precipice, of potentially my final chapter in this life, I am at peace knowing I have been able to connect with you all on some fundamental and consequential level. I place faith in the fact that while my children may never truly know the full extent of my undying love for them, I have developed a sufficient number of advocates and surrogates to aid them as they progress throughout their own lives, by imparting important life lessons, providing them with love, support and guidance during challenging times, and bestowing them with anecdotes about how deeply they were loved by their father. I consider my children my preeminent accomplishment and I can think of no better stewards, than each and every one of you, to help further my legacy of unconditional love and kindness through them. I want to express my deepest appreciation for our time together and hope you and yours all live long, healthy and prosperous lives. Until we meet again…I love you. ❤️ Michael Joseph Zadina
