Milagros Lapid, 66, a retired floor manager from the California Casino, of Las Vegas, passed away April 3, 2011. She was born Nov. 27, 1944, in Pampanga, Philippines, and was a 43-year resident of Nevada. Milagros was a member of the Rosary Maker's at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Milagros is survived by her son, Rod Lapid; daughter, Melissa (Richard) Laing; and four grandchildren. Visitation will be 9-10 a.m. Thursday, April 7, with services following, both at Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Graveside services will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Palm Memorial Park - Northwest, 6701 N. Jones Blvd.
