Morgan "Buddy" Alston, 61, of Las Vegas, passed away in his home surrounded by family, March 1, 2012. He was born in Darnell, La. to Clyde and Mattie Mae Alston. He served in the Army in the 1970's. He was the assistant casino manager of the Flamingo Hilton. Morgan was preceded in death by his daughter, LaRona Alston; his mother and father; and his brother, Jesse Alston. He is survived by his wife, of 28 years, Myra Davis-Alston; sons, Sanford Davis, Stephen Davis, and David Foster; sisters, Geneva Thompson of Las Vegas and Vera Fletcher of Epps, La.; brothers, Clyde, Marvin and Melvin Alston, all of Las Vegas; his grandchildren, Davexter Alston, Curtis Jackson, Tyson White, Alicia Davis, Destiny Davis, Demetrius Davis, Davian Foster, and Terry Rabb; sisters-in law, Elois Alston, Patricia Alston, Sylvia Alston, and Secounda Lawson; mother-in-law, Mollie Lawson; brother-in-law, Johnny Thompson; and a host of relatives. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, March 9, at Palm Mortuary-Northwest, 6701 N. Jones Blvd.
