Nathaniel E. Boone, 92, of Las Vegas, passed away Thursday, February 10, 2011. He was born July 11, 1918, in Charleston, S.C., and has been a resident of Nevada since the late 80's. He was a retired New York City hotel bellman and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of the American Legion Post 0076. Nathaniel is survived by his wife, Ethelyn Boone of Las Vegas; daughter, Marsha (Boone) Kelly of Manhattan, N.Y.; granddaughter, Tareeka Kelly; grandsons, Ismael and Samori Kelly; great-granddaughters, Elani and Elasia Goosby; and great-grandson, Khalil Kelly, all of Queens, N.Y. Visitation will be 3:00pm - 7:00pm Thursday, February 17. Service will be at 2:00pm Friday, February 18, both at Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Avenue. Interment will be at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City.
