Neil R. Holder

Neil Russell Holder, of Las Vegas, NV passed away on December 22, 2023 at the age of 69. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years Zita Holder(Pataki), daughter Sara Horn, son Joseph (Joey), sister Barbee Arthur, brother Wayne (Joe), grandchildren Lilianna, Madalyn, Charlotte, and Ryleigh. Neil is also survived by five nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Maureen Holder (O’Connor).

Neil was born on July 8, 1954, in Los Angeles and moved to Las Vegas in 1971. At age 21, Neil began working at All American Van & Storage as a CDL truck driver, advancing to a salesman, Sales Manager and eventually owning the business. During his career Neil was also active in the Las Vegas Jaycee’s for 22 years. During this time he was Fair Chairman in 1984, Las Vegas Chapter President from 1985-86 and Nevada State President from 1992-93. Neil was a member of the Las Vegas and North Las Vegas Chambers of Commerce for many years. He was also active with the Boy Scouts for ten years and served as Scoutmaster of Troop #6.

In lieu of flowers, you can donate to the UNLV Rebel Athletic Fund and comment “in memory of Neil Holder”. Neil was a UNLV basketball and football season ticket holder and Rebel Athletic Fund donor for over 40 years.
