

He held various jobs during his career but was most proud of being a general foreman for Hughes Tool in Culver City, California.
He married his first wife, Carol LaVonn in October of 1955, who sadly passed away in March of 1970. In May of 1971, he married Lenore Jean Funk, and they would stay happily married for 52 years until his passing.
He was predeceased by his mother, Carrie Harles; father, Alfonso Harles; brothers, Stanley Harles, Harland Harles, Roger Harles and Richard Harles.
He is survived by his wife, Lenore; daughter, Cynthia Smith (Jeff); sisters, Karen Stine (Wayne) and Mavis Kalbrener (Kevin); grandson, Todd Smith (Kristin); granddaughter, Tara Arnold (Ben) and great-grandsons, Jackson Smith, Brenton Arnold and Bryson Arnold.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
