Otilia Ureno

Otilia Ureno was born in Jerez de Garcia Salinas, Zacatecas, Mexico to Manuel Reveles Gonzalez and Soledad Carrillo Alaniz on February 19, 1955. She left home and immigrated to the United States at a young age. She lived and created a family of her own in San Pedro, California, then moving and settling her life in Las Vegas, Nevada. She began her career in the medical field as a housekeeper at Sunrise Hospital, then gained the courage to step out of her comfort zone and became an Anesthesia Technician at several hospitals and surgery centers across the Vegas valley. Otilia also accomplished becoming a US Citizen, getting her GED, and becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Throughout her career and life, she met the most amazing people that filled her life with laughter, joy, and pure happiness. The same can be said about Otilia, she was a hard worker who strived to be better and cared for the people in her life. She enjoyed traveling and any chance she was given, she would visit her mother, brothers, and sisters in Mexico. Otilia cared deeply for her two children and always encouraged them to make the best decisions in life. She will forever be their prime example of a hard worker and a strong woman who never gave up, no matter what obstacles were thrown her way. Otilia was actively involved in her grandchildren’s lives, from attending school awards to attending sport games and just spending quality time with them. A mother and grandmother like no other, she will truly be missed.

Otilia Ureno is preceded in death by her sister Elisa Reveles Carrillo, brother Jose Manuel Reveles Carrillo, mother Soledad Carrillo Alaniz, brother Jose Luis Reveles Carrillo, and father Manuel Reveles Gonzalez. She is survived by her children Felipe Ureno Jr. and Marissa Ureno. Grandchildren, Alyssa I. Ureno, Breanna R. Ureno, Giuliana L. Ureno, and Jeremiah J. Ureno. Siblings, Samuel Reveles Carrillo and Ofelia Reveles Carrillo.

A visitation for Otilia will be held Wednesday, July 9, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Palm Mortuary - Northwest, 6701 North Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89131. A funeral service will occur Thursday, July 10, 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at Holy Family Catholic Church, 4490 S Mountain Vista St, Las Vegas, NV 89121. A committal service will occur Thursday, July 10, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Palm Northwest Mortuary & Cemetery, 6701 N Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89131.
