Patricia Ann Dawson

Patricia Ann Dawson, lovingly known as Pat to many who knew her, was born on November 15, 1951, in Burlington, North Carolina. She passed away peacefully on July 28, 2026.

She is survived by her devoted husband, James Dawson; her loving children, Teri Dawson and James Dawson (Jennifer); her cherished granddaughter, Jenna Dawson; her brother, Robert; and her sister, Mary Gray. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Jessie and Theresa Brock.

Patricia embraced many roles throughout her life including mother and homemaker. She was a military wife standing faithfully beside her husband through the unique challenges and adventures of military life. She was also known for breaking barriers as a 92-pound truck driver, proving that courage and determination have nothing to do with size.

Patricia found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved challenging herself with Sudoku and puzzles, searching for unique treasures while antiquing, and expressing her creativity through art.

Though our hearts are heavy with her passing, we find comfort in knowing that her love remains with us always. She will be deeply missed, forever remembered, and lovingly carried in our hearts.
