Paul Pepere LaVoie passed away Jan. 11, 2013. Born May 28, 1929, in Dracut, Mass., the youngest of 12 children, Paul came to Las Vegas in the summer of 1949 to report to the U.S. Army Air Corps Base, which became Nellis shortly after he arrived. A salesman for over 40 years, he retired from Frito Lay. An extremely funny man with a quick wit and a ready smile, he was known to all as the limerick master. He is survived by his wife, of 45 years, Kay LaVoie; children, Scott, Paul, Brian, Trish, Michelle and Michael; and 12 grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 17, at St. John Neuman Church, 2575 W. El Campo Grande Ave., N. Las Vegas, NV 89031. Graveside military services will be at 2:30 p.m., Friday, Jan. 18, at Palm Memorial Park, 6701 N. Jones Blvd.
