Paul Edward Oren

Born on October 14, 1946, in Grapeland, Texas, Paul moved with his family to Ferndale, Michigan during his elementary years. He graduated from Ferndale High School and proudly enlisted in the United States Army. Paul arrived in Korea on his 18th birthday, beginning a chapter of service that became an important part of his life.

After returning home, he began a long and successful career with the Sheet Metal Workers’ Union Local 80, where he dedicated many years of hard work before retiring. In 2015, Paul and his beloved wife, Christine Oren, moved to Summerlin, Nevada, where they enjoyed spending more time with their grandchildren and family in Nevada and California.

Paul was truly one of a kind. Known affectionately as PEO and Pauly, he was the life of every party - a character who could fill an entire room with his energy, humor, and stories. He had a gift for turning ordinary moments into lifelong memories and always knew how to make the most out of life. Everyone who knew PEO has a favorite story, a laugh they shared, or a memory that will live on forever.

He lived by one of his most famous sayings: “You only walk it once.” It wasn’t just a quote—it was his way of life. He believed in experiencing everything, loving deeply, laughing often, and making every moment count.

Paul is survived by his loving wife, Christine Oren; his children Tonya Haddad (Aaron), Kyle Oren, Rodney Bugg (Kristina) and Jennifer Kirby ( Chris); and his cherished grandchildren Bret, Devon, Jake, Luke, Kailynn, Violet, and Rebecca.

He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and countless stories that will continue to be shared for generations.
