Paulette Thompson

Paulette Thompson, age 71, of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away on Thursday October 26, 2023. Paulette was born on November 02, 1951 in Fordyce Arkansas to Hayward Juniel & Laura Rushing. Was baptized at Mt. Elden Church in Flagstaff, Arizona. She is one of 7 children, Paulette graduated from Flagstaff High School Arizona in 1969. Married Jackie R. Thompson Jr. in 1970-1977 and never remarried. They had a son, Vincent R. Thompson Sr. To pass the time Paulette played cards. Loved spending time with her siblings. She also made time to catch up with her friends and family. She enjoyed watching “Law & Order”, various I.D. Channel shows, “America’s Next Top Model”, “Love After Lockup”, Tik Tok and YouTube Videos. During her professional career she was employed by California Club, MGM, Monte Carlo, Frontier, Sands, Riviera, Desert Inn in Las Vegas Nevada, also the Trump Casino in California.

She was such a loving person. Paulette is survived by her son Vincent R. Thompson Sr., grandchildren Vincent R. Thompson Jr. Tim Clark, Lyrique Shelton, Zaque Shelton, great grandchildren Niyomi Thompson, Narriah Anderson, I’aylise Anderson and various hosts of nieces and nephews. Also her siblings: Sandra Lowe, Glenda Stingley,Tyrone Juniel, Hayward Juniel Jr., Cassandra Juniel, Latanya Juniel and Tim Juniel.

A visitation for Paulette will be held Monday, November 13, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Palm Cheyenne Mortuary, 7400 West Cheyenne Avenue, Las Vegas, NV 89129.
