Peggy Tanner passed away Saturday, December 6, 2014 peacefully at home. She was born on July 14, 1939 in San Bernardino, Ca. to Charles and Peggy Verdugo. Peggy moved with her family to Santa Clara, California, where she graduated from high school and went on to Beauty College in San Jose. She met and married Bill Tanner in 1961. They moved to South Lake Tahoe where she became the “Hair dresser to the stars” that appeared in the showrooms! Peggy and Bill had 3 children and lived in Alaska, New Jersey and finally Nevada where she continued her role as mother, grandmother and hair dresser. Peggy is truly missed by her family, friends, co-workers and patrons. She is loved by all! Peggy is preceded in death by her parents and brothers; Dennis and Chuck. She leaves behind her husband of 54 yrs., Bill Tanner, son Gregory (Wendy) Tanner of Austin, TX., two daughters; April Reed of Denver, CO. and Polly Marques of Las Vegas, NV., and six lovely grandchildren.
