Pete Padilla of Las Vegas passed away peacefully June 12, 2017. He was born December 16, 1928 in Socorro New Mexico. Pete is survived by his six children, Katie, Gloria, Jackie, Judy and Priscilla and his two deceased children Danny and Robert. Pete lived a full life and had many careers but his passion and expertise was as a landscaper. In 1983, he moved to Utah to help Danny and Debbie Haines raise the kids as they opened their restaurant. Nicholas and Nathan Haines were given the best home life, and unconditional love, as he kept the home light burning. Pete was lovingly known to many as Uncle Pete, no matter age, race or city of origin. Every person was part of his embrace, and he was their uncle. He will be missed. A celebration of his life will be Saturday, July 8th at Palm Mortuary 6701 N. Jones Blvd. Services are 1-2PM Fellowship. 2-3 Service, and a celebration after at Palm. He will be buried next to his sister Ida M. Garcia who passed one day later.
