In their elder years, they made a home in sunny Henderson, Nevada where they enjoyed making new friends and wagering on various sports including his favorite horse racing. His favorite wager was the “Twin Q” and he had a winning ticket the day before his death April 26, 2026.
During his 88 years, Pete made many friends and loved his family. He was a Christian and spoke freely of God’s love and salvation sharing his belief with anyone who would listen.
