Phillip , you are been missed . Now that Father’s Day is almost here , we wish you were here with us .

Phil was a dear friend of Andy Tompkins and I knew him well for almost 40 years.  He always had a smile  and had an eye for business.  I will miss him as well.  Wanda Gilleland, Statesville, NC

I've known Phil for about 50 years, and treasured his friendship (present tense)... Saw him on Tuesday and he seemed well enough as we exchanged stories on "our" health and families "doings"...Phil was a great joke and story teller and he always had time for me when I dropped in...He delighted in bringing up his/the past and his knowledge of the Las Vegas "old-timers" that he was associated with was phenomenal...His memory was phenomenal and with a little "couching/coaxing, time (in his office) would fly by, but he would never interrupt the conversation...Phil and I went to Europe on a military tour of WW11 sites on the 50th anniversary of D-Day and Phil was presented a medal from the French government for his part as a militry policeman after the invasion... We were together for 2 weeks on the tour and I got to know him there even better than I knew him in Las Vegas...He was a great storyteller and everything reminded him of something that happened in the past! I was not "ready" for his demise and I will miss him... Rest easy, friend, it was/is great knowing you! Paul Schultz

We all will miss Philip Cohen. He was a sweet and loving man that is one thing i will miss about him. He helped us alot and with everything I dont have much stories to tell about him but I loved it when he would always tell me to keep studying and go to college and make the best of it. I will remember that always he will be in my heart an dstay there for ever. I will miss seeing him in the kitchen reading the newspaper early in the morning when I would sleep over my cousins house. We all love him and can't belive hes gone, he did great things for everyone. Philip will stay in our hearts. You will be missed uncle we love very dearly.  My condolence to Brian and Aunt Joselin

We all will miss sweet and dear Philip Cohen. He was a nice man and helped us all, we still can't belive he has left us. He was a funny person and there are so many things that we still remember of him will never leave our hearts. We love him... I love him soo much he was  a great uncle. He will always be remembered for his great things he did for everyone. May he rest in pease. We are soo sorry Brian and Aunt Joselin and family members for the loss. It is a sad day to say good by to a good friend, I have known Phil for over 80 years,we went through the 1st-6th grades together,sold newspapers when we where 11 & 12 years old.
After world war 11 we found each other when he came to Baltimore on a visit.
The years just fly by,but we allways kept in touch.
My wife Elsie and I wish to extend our sympathies to his family

It was a pleasure to have met and visited with Mr.Cohen over the past several years. His conversation was fun and interesting and usually shared with a smile and a twinkle in his eye. I will especially remember that he was always very kind to me. I am honored to have known him. My heartfelt sympathies to his family.
