

Phyllis Singer, 78, a resident of Las Vegas passed away peacefully December 21, 2013. She was born March 10, 1935 in Brooklyn, New York to David Klein and Mildred Salzinger and was a resident of Las Vegas since 1982. Phyllis lived life to the fullest. She worked in the banking industry for over 30 years before she retired. In her younger years, she loved to take cruises and travel around the world. Phyllis was an avid sports fan; she loved watching baseball and football, rooting for her favorite two teams, the New York Mets and the New York Giants. Additionally, she enjoyed playing table poker in the poker rooms at Sam’s Town. Phyllis has a generous heart and was active in her community. She volunteered at church and was always lending a helping hand to her friends at the residential communities where she lived. Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents David and Mildred. She is survived by two daughters: Amy (Gene) Lucas and Joyce (Jim) Daly; five grandchildren: Lianna DiMonda, Nicole Daly, James Daly, Jacob Lucas, and Joy Lucas; three great grandchildren: Cade Lucas, Winter Lucas, and Brody Lucas; and sister, Caryl (Bernard) Schertzman.
