

Raymond E. Lourenco, 79, of Las Vegas passed away September 29,2016 @ 5:19 PM from pancreatic cancer. He was born June 26, 1937 in Central Falls, Rhode Island. He worked at the Fremont Hotel as a Valet for 58 years. Preceded in death by his wife Ella Mae, daughter Connie and son Donnie, Raymond is survived by six siblings, five grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, a lady friend and countless more family members and friends. Raymond was an avid fisherman who enjoyed taking his pontoon boat out on the water and traveling with his fifth wheel. Affectionately called Papa by many, he loved spending time with the people he cared for. A dapper gentleman, Raymond was the life of any gathering with jokes and an infectious smile. Raymond’s kindness and generosity reached far and the impact he has had on the lives of those who knew him shows the amazing man that he was.
Visitation will be held from 1-6 p.m. Friday, October 7. Service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday October 8, both in the Small Chapel at Palm Mortuary Main Street. Burial will be at 12 p.m. at the Palm Mortuary on South Eastern.
