Regina lived a life defined by ambition, resilience, and purpose. Highly educated, self-driven, and hardworking, she built a distinguished career in hospital administration, contributing to the advancement of healthcare across the nation. She was proud to be part of the original Joint Commissions (TJC), dedicating her expertise to improving healthcare systems in California, Nevada, Florida, Illinois, and Louisiana. Her work reflected her commitment to excellence and her desire to make a meaningful impact on the lives of others.
Outside of her professional accomplishments, Regina embraced life with curiosity and enthusiasm. She was deeply social and had a profound love for travel, exploring destinations such as Africa—where she immersed herself in culture and art—Mexico, and enjoying cruises throughout Florida and the Caribbean. She found joy in discovery and learning, which was further reflected in her passion for reading, particularly travel literature. Her extensive collection of National Geographic magazines and original medical books stood as a testament to her intellectual curiosity.
Regina had a special place in her heart for animals, especially her beloved rescued cats, Scooter and Chewy. She also found peace and fulfillment in nature, transforming her backyard into a lush oasis reminiscent of California landscapes—a sanctuary in the desert she called home. Her love of flowers and the outdoors created a space of beauty and tranquility that she cherished.
A lifelong Catholic, Regina remained devoted to her faith, which guided her throughout her life.
Regina will be remembered for her determination, her warmth, her adventurous spirit, and her unwavering dedication to both her career and her passions. She leaves behind a legacy of strength, compassion, and inspiration to all who knew her.
