Richard Ah Sam, a devoted husband, beloved father, and humble man of faith, passed away peacefully at the age of 90, surrounded by the love of his family.
A man of quiet strength and gentle spirit, Richard lived a life marked by deep love, unwavering devotion, and simple joys. He gave his heart and soul to his family—especially to his beloved wife, whom he cherished beyond measure. To her, he gave everything he had: his time, his love, his loyalty, and his life’s work.
Richard was the proud father of four children, the grandfather of nine, great-grandfather of eight, and great-great-grandfather of three. Each generation carries his legacy of kindness, humility, and loyalty to his family.
He found beauty in life’s simplicity and walked through this world with grace, humility, and a heart full of gratitude. Though soft-spoken, his presence was a powerful reminder of what it means to live with love and purpose.
Richard’s faith in God was the foundation of his life. He lived in quiet reverence, always putting others before himself and trusting in the path laid out before him.
He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever honored by all who were blessed to know him.
“Well done, good and faithful servant.” — Matthew 25:23
