Rita Michelle Howard

Rita Michelle Howard was better known as Michelle. Her sunrise was June 14th, 1960 in Las Vegas, NV. to Charles and Hazel Cooper. She was born tenth of eleven brothers and sisters. Michelle was mother of two sons, Samuel Eddie Smith and Donnie DeShawn Smith and helped raised several of her nieces, nephews and grandchildren.

Michelle leaves behind her husband Ricky Howard. She also will be missed by many grandchildren and her sisters and brothers, Charles Cooper Jr. (preceded by Ruth), Gloria Richardson(Jesse), Kelly Cooper (Renee), Celestine Cooper (Charlie),

Diana Cooper, Willie Cooper, Ricky Cooper along with a host of nieces, nephews, co-workers and friends. For any and everyone who knew her you couldn’t help but laugh in her presence. She was well loved and will be missed by many friends who worked with her at the school district for twelve years.

Michelle’s sunset was October 19, 2012. She is joining her father Charles Cooper, mother Hazel Cooper, three sisters Barbara Cooper, Rosemary Bolden, and Beverly Gross, Aunt Claudine Sledge and Uncle William (Bill) Sledge for the rest of her journey. She will be sorely missed by all whom were blessed enough to know her.
