Han pasado meses que te llevo Diosito al cielo.  Ni un dia pasa sin un recuerdo de un momento contigo. 
Me acuerdo cuanto me apoyaste en el beisbol, todavia puedo ver te desde el campo, hablando con la gente de una jugada.  
Que bonitos recuerdos que tengo de ti.  Como siempre as dicho, "yo soy como soy."  Y si, en las buenas y en las malas, pero nunca te cambiara por otro.
Gracias por todo lo que as hecho para cuidarnos, ya que nunca se las ponemos facil.  Pero nunca nos decepcionaste.  Gracias por el amor infinito que le mostraste a mi madre, no existe un amor perfecto.  Gracias por todo el amor que nos ensenaste, y por ser buen ejemplo de como ser un buen hermano.  
Nunca habra suficiente tiempo con un ser querido.  Mi vida nunca sera la misma, despues que te fuiste.  
Hasta el dia que nos encontremos en la puerta del cielo, te extranare.
Descansa en paz mi viejito.

Se nos fue muy de repente tío Rito, nos hace mucha falta. Extraño sus abrazos y sus vaciladas. Es un privilegio ser su sobrina y haber pasado tantos momentos bien a todo dar con usted. Siempre lo recordaré como la gran persona que era, alegre y con un corazón de oro. Lo queremos  mucho y le mando un beso hasta el cielo. 


I remember many things about my father... his jokes , his laughter, and most of all his huge heart.. He cared about everyone and very rarely said No to anyone.. He gave his entire life to his kids and grandkids and he never stopped loving my mother.  He taught me how to be a strong man and how to work hard and appreciate what you have. 
One memory in particular I will always remember,  is when I was 9-10 years old and we were in a parking lot with no other cars around, in his Gran Torino, I hopped in the driver's seat and I asked him to let me drive around the parking lot. So he let me and told me just go slow and step on the left peddle to stop.  I can barely reach the peddle so I stepped on the wrong one and I took off and my Dad was yelling  "THE OTHER ONE, THE OTHER ONE!!!!" Anyway, I was able to stop and his car was fine but I think I gave my Dad a mini heart attack that day.
 When I became a truck driver he told me, "I knew you wouldn't be scared" because I was driving at a young age.  So many happy, crazy, awesome memories...

My tata. I don’t even know where to begin. There’s soo much I can say about our relationship. I’ve never felt so helpless, confused, and shattered. Not knowing how you felt on your last day, what you may have been thinking or feeling. Were you in pain? Were you content with your life? Were you happy? How did you feel? It kills me inside to not remember what our last hug felt like. what we talked about in our last conversation, what was the last laugh we had together. We shared so many happy moments I can’t seem to remember our last. Getting that call about your passing was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to hear. Being states away and unable to be there with you through such hard times. The fact that I couldn’t hug you, kiss you, or say goodbye... breaks my heart. If there’s one thing I could choose to live by that u always said to me was “don’t worry be happy”. In times of trouble, being stressed, or simply upset. You would always tell me, “Mija, no se precupas, be happy mija. Ahhh I love you mija!” You are such an amazing person more than words can explain. You were so proud of your family, your wife, your sons, your grandkids, me. I just hope you know I was so proud, lucky, and blessed that god gave me such a strong loving funny man to be my grandpa. You taught me the meaning of love, family, and strength. You also taught me how to drive ! “Mija, derecho, a la derecha, a la Esquierda, slow down Mija”. I told you “tata I got it “ and you look at me and then the road and say “easy easy easy”. I look at my nana in the backseat, We just laugh. I cherish all of our laughs and memories made with you tata, and lord knows there are many more than what I mentioned. You will forever and always be in my heart! I love you, may you Rest In Peace. En Paz descanse tata . Te quiero mucho por el resto de mi vida🙏🏽❤️

Tío Rito, i will forever remember you and miss you!  You always made me laugh with the funny things you would say to me. Like when you told me “Ay Valeria, pareses mapa” and we both giggled:)

Querido hermano, te extraño mucho. Recuerdo una vez que se me descompuso el carro regresando de Mexicali, era de madrugada y te llamé pidiendote ayuda, ni siquiera me dejaste terminar, solo me preguntaste donde estaba y me dijiste, ahí voy, no te preocupes. Siempre estuviste a mi lado queriendome tal y como soy. Se que Dios te recibió con brazos abiertos poque tu corazon era enorme. Abrazos y besos hasta el cielo para tí y mi mamá.

I would  like to  thank  everybody for all the wonderful  memories from my family  to yours we thank you for all the great memories he was a great  man 

Crazy to think I had just spoken to you a couple months  ago, you really don't realize how fast things can change until it actually happens. I will miss you now and always and although words could never truly express how much you meant to me, I will try. I think back to the times as a kid when I went over to Las Vegas to visit everyone and you were always there to greet me with a hug and smile. I truly loved my time just hanging out with you and grandma. You guys always made me feel loved and welcomed and let me know that you cared for me even during the times when I was distant with the rest of the family. I love you and miss you but I know you'll always be here with me in my heart and memories. 

I’m heartbroken 💔 by the fact that  this pandemic has not only taken one of the most loving and caring grandfathers ever but that Rick wasn’t  able to be with his grandmother during this time. 
Mr. Rodriguez, I’m truly grateful that you were always there for Rick and  I.  You always made me feel welcomed and loved like I was a part of your family. I will always remember you checking up on us and making sure we were ok.  Rick truly loved spending time with you and is proud to be your first born grandson. You’ll be greatly missed. God rest your soul. May God and his angels welcome you into the gates of heaven 🙏🏼

I have great memories of my uncle as long as I have known him. He was always a great person and I didn't understand how close he was with my family until I saw him at my dad's death bed. He walked out crying after he talked to my father, all I can say is that I'm going to miss him and I wish I had more time. He had s good sense of humor always making me laugh, always had jokes, always was the clown with me. Te quiero mucho tio
