Robert W Bender, 77, of Las Vegas, NV passed away on September 26, 2015. Bob was born in Mason City, IA to Wayne and Ann Bender and was a 53 year resident of Las Vegas. He was a retired Air Conditioning/Refrigeration Engineer. Bob was a wonderful and devoted husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jerry and granddaughter Shelby Ann. Bob is survived by his wife of 54 years, Marti; daughters, Teri (Chet), Dana (Tommy), Chelly and Missy; grandchildren, Brett (Amanda), Brandon, Joey, Andrew, Sarah, Lauren, Madison, Daniel, Lisette and Parker; sister Virginia (Bill); sister in law Barbara and nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at 10:00AM at Palm Northwest Mortuary, 6701 N Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89131 with interment immediately to follow at Palm Northwest Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held at a separate location following the interment. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church.
