Robert "Bobby" Dennis Hill, 68, passed away on August 10, 2026. Born September 22, 1957, in Reno, Nevada, Bobby spent his early childhood in Northern Nevada before moving with his family to Las Vegas in 1968. He graduated from Western High School in 1976, where he proudly lettered as a track star.
Bobby built a life rooted in hard work. After owning Bob's Lawn Service, he spent 32 years with the Clark County Department of Aviation at McCarran International Airport (1983–2015). He loved the energy of the terminals, his co-workers, and especially aircraft, with Air Force One being his favorite.
A true Nevadan, Bobby loved the desert, mining history, NASCAR, the Vegas Golden Knights, history, and quiet moments with crossword puzzles. Like Nevada's native turquoise and opal, he carried a quiet strength and rare gentleness.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Marilyn Hill, and his brother, Warren G. Hill.
Bobby is survived by his sister, Patricia Trowbridge; brothers, Jerry Hill and Tom Hill (Idalys); nephews, Glen Thomas Trowbridge and Ryan Hill (Madison); nieces, Kristin Porter (JJ) and Cassidy Stubblefield (Bradley); grand-nieces, Briar James and Amelia Paige; and grand-nephew, Thomas Jameson.
He is also survived by his longtime companion, Theresa L. Albanese, and her extended family, who embraced Bobby as their own.
Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Sat. Oct. 24, 2026 at Palm Cheyenne Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89129.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Bobby's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
