Robert Allen McElmurry, 65 of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away on November 4, 2015 at home surrounded by his loved ones. Robert was born to Ralph and Betty McElmurry in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Robert attended University of Oklahoma where he received his Master’s Degree. He married the love of his life Sherry, while attending OU. They were blessed with two children, Jeffrey Robert and Julie Erin. Bob was a resident of Las Vegas for 31 years. In his spare time Bob enjoyed watching OU sports, golfing, and was actively involved in oil and gas exploration. Bob was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to many. Robert is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Sherry; his children, Jeffrey(Silvia) McElmurry and Julie(Vince) Medina; his grandchildren, Vincent Robert Medina, Brooke Isabel McElmurry and a baby girl due in February; his two brothers, Ralph McElmurry, JR(Jean) and Steve McElmurry; brother in law Chris Weir and father in law, Bill Weir. A Visitation will be held on Monday, November 9, 2015 4-7PM at Palm Northwest Mortuary with a Funeral Service on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at 12:00PM.
