Robert H. Moyer, 87, of North Las Vegas, passed away Friday, Sept. 2, 2011. He was born July 14, 1924, in Pennsylvania, and was a 20-year resident of Nevada. Robert served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a retired mechanic shop owner/operator. Robert was preceded in death by his son, Robert Moyer Jr. Robert is survived by his wife, Shirley Moyer; daughters. Nancy (Gregory) Lyons of Belle Vernon, Pa., and Susan (Daniel) Johnson; son, William (Debra) Moyer; daughter, Mary (Mark) Romero; brother, William (Anh) Moyer, all of Las Vegas; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Visitation will be 4-5 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7, with services following, both at Palm Mortuary, 6701 N. Jones Blvd. Arrangements under the direction of Palm Cheyenne Mortuary, Las Vegas, NV.
