Scott was born on April 11, 1961, to the late Patricia (Donnelly) and Robert Nichols in Mount Holly, New Jersey.
Scott was the eldest child, and his siblings all admired him and looked to him for guidance and support. He often talked about his mom’s cherry pies which were his favorite. Scott loved to watch sports, football and especially hockey were his favorites. Growing up he would play street hockey all day with his brother Bill and friends. He was a music lover and would often sit there for hours listening to his music.
He worked at the Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station in Plymouth, MA for over 30 years. Scott was a union steward for many years and gained the respect of many. This is where he met the love of his life Karen. Outside of work, Scott was a wonderful husband, dad, stepdad, and friend. For many years he was a bingo caller for Pembroke Youth Hockey. Scott had a great sense of humor, and a deep booming laugh that filled the room. He told it like it was but had a heart of gold. He loved to travel with his wife Karen and made two cross-country road trips. His greatest love was spending time with his grandchildren. He visited them as much as he could; he face-timed whenever he couldn’t. He went to as many of his grandson Rowan’s hockey games as possible. His family was his world and will be greatly missed.
Scott leaves behind many loved ones. His beloved wife, Karen Nichols, his daughter Alicia Mosher and her husband Craig, daughter Christina DeKarski and her husband Vinnie, his son Robert Nichols, his stepson Scott Lambert, his wife Amy, stepdaughters, Kalyn Turner and her husband Jeffrey, Heather Ford and her husband Tyler. Scott also leaves behind 10 beautiful grandchildren; Olvia, Wyatt, Benjamin, Harrison, Nathaniel, Robert, Rowan, Evelyn, Ruby and Zion. He also leaves behind his nephews, Brad and Logan Keeney, his niece Briana Nichols and nephew Sean Nichols.
