Robert G "Jerry" Parker, 83, passed away peacefully Thursday, July 7, 2016. Jerry grew up in Galveston, TX and moved to Las Vegas in 1955. As a long time Casino Executive, he relocated to Atlantic City, NJ to open Caesar's. While there he also worked at The Sands and opened The Taj Mahal. In 1995 he returned to Las Vegas to open Texas Station. He retired from Texas Station in 2013 after 18 years of service. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Jean, daughter Tobi Crede (Keith), and granddaughter Kaelyn Crede. He was preceded in death by his son Robert "Bobby" G. Parker, Jr (Karen).
