Robert W. “Bob” Reed, 93, a resident of Las Vegas and Phoenix, passed away Sept. 5, 2015. He was born June 22, 1922 in Lansing, Michigan to his parents Laura and Howard Reed. Bob served honorably in the U.S. Army Air Force during WWII. After the war, he met and married the woman who would be his companion and soul mate for 68 years, Amelia. He worked as a draftsman and highway engineer for various architecture firms in Michigan and Arizona until he retired. Bob was a wonderful and devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend, who loved spending time with his family and using his creative talent to paint portraits and landscapes on canvas; he will remain in our hearts forever. Bob is survived by his beloved wife Amelia; daughter Robin (Mike); sons: Greg and Dennis; and grandchildren: Kyle and Kevin. Bob will have a Veterans Ceremony with honors at The National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N Cave Creek Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85024.
