Robert Paul Skapik, 73 passed away on Sunday July 3, 2011 at Mountain View Hospital after a long illness. Robert was born in Johnson City, New York to parents Paul and Nora Doyle. He proudly served over 22 years in the U.S. Air Force and retired as an E7 - Master Sergeant. After that he went to work for the Nevada test site where he stayed employed for 16 years. He was happily married to Gabriele for over 44 wonderful years and they were blessed with 3 remarkable children; Christine, Robert and Simone. A visitation will be held Thursday July 7, 2011 from 2 pm to 6 pm with the funeral service to start at 6 pm both being held at Palm Mortuary 1600 South Jones Blvd.
