On November 2, 2025, Robert (Bobby) Lewis Witt went to be with his Lord and Savior. Born on September 10, 1946, in Birmingham, Alabama, to Lewis and Emealine Witt, Bobby loved life and was deeply devoted to his faith, family, work, community and country.
Bobby proudly served in the United States Army, serving in Vietnam. After completing his military service, Bobby met and married the love of his life, Judy. She introduced Bobby to the Lord, and he became a Christian who loved the word of God. Bobby ministered and shared the word of God until his final days.
Following in his father's footsteps, he pursued his lifelong dream of becoming a pipefitter/welder and proud member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Union Local 525. After almost 30 years of working in the trade Bobby and his wife took a leap of faith and started their own Union shop, Ryan Mechanical, Inc. Within his industry he was a giant and served on many boards including MCA, SMACNA, Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 525 and Sheet Metal Workers Local 88 Apprenticeship Boards and Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 525 Health & Welfare and Pension Trust Funds.
He was preceded in death by his beloved son, Ryan John Witt, his parents, Lewis and Emealine Witt, and his brother Rickey Witt. Bobby is survived by his loving wife Judy Witt, sons Randy Witt (Rosa) and Bryce Witt (Rebecca), daughters, Lindee Witt, Torey Mantor (Mike), Christy Witt, Amber Anderson (Bret), and Jenny Witt (Ryan Litster), grandchildren Kirstin, Levi, Taylor, Myriam, Albita, Blanca, Jace, Lainey, Bailee, RyLee, Lanaya, Hunter, Mia, Devin, Sophie, Janai and Jayda, eighteen great-grandchildren with two more on the way.
Though his presence will be deeply missed, his spirit lives on in the lives he touched and the legacy he leaves behind. To celebrate his life, a service will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Palm Mortuary Northwest (6701 N Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89131) from 3-5 PM. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made to Hoving Home Las Vegas (hovinghome.org) a faith-based refuge for women, an organization that Bobby supported and cared for deeply.
Bobby’s life was a testament to his faith, integrity, and unconditional love. Those fortunate enough to have known him will forever remember his gentle heart, his steadfast faith, his abounding strength, and the way he made everyone feel valued and loved. His was a life well-lived, and his memory will remain a blessing to all who knew him.
“Well done, good and faithful servant… Enter into the joy of your Lord.” — Matthew 25:23
