Bill was the epitome of the Greatest Generation. He was devoutly religious, a family man, an educator and a soldier. Bill received the Purple Heart while proudly serving his country during combat in World War II in Europe. He fought in Korea and served during the Vietnam Conflict.
He earned a Doctorate in Education Administration and led several educational endeavors ranging from Native American schools in Arizona to postings in the Micronesian Islands and as an Academic Dean at the Guam Community College.
After retiring from education he served as military retiree liaison to the active forces in Guam and contributed vast efforts in his role as a leader in the Department of Defense Employer Support to the Guard and Reserve.
Bill continued serving actively as an officer in his American Legion Post and in the National Association of Uniformed Services.
Bill led a remarkable life and touched many through his optimism, good humor and integrity.
Bill claimed a simple mission to faithfully serve Christ and show His love with everyone he encountered through relationships, discipleship, his personal actions and evangelism.
It is his strong faith that assures us he now walks with The Lord in heaven.
Bill was always ready with a song, a joke, needed advice or a heartfelt prayer.
Bill is survived by his beautiful, gracious, dedicated, loving wife Maria of North Las Vegas, his brother Don and Betty Williams of Arkansas, his children's families: Tuseth, Toves and Williams, and devoted groups of extended family: DeVera, Siepker, Jagasits, Ichihara, Asuncion, Fernandez, Ada, Flores and Cruz.
Bill will be missed.
