I loved Ronnie with all my heart.  I always will.  Reconnected last year and  were fast becoming good friends.  I will miss him forever.  He was a good husband, son, brother-in-law and loved my mom's taco's.  He could eat 15 of them at least at one sitting. I will miss him everyday until we see each other again in Heaven.

Ron was one of the most unique people I have ever met. I was blessed by becoming his co-worker and then friend. I will miss his special blend of humor and will never forget his incredible kindness. He will be forever missed.

There are things that we don't want to happen, but have to accept.
There are things we don't want to know, but have to learn AND people we can't live without, but have to let go.

I just read about Ron.  Ron was a great friend over the internet and it was a pleasure to meet him when I last visited Las Vages.  He was a true gentleman.  I will miss him as I am sure everyone who knew him will miss him.

SEMPER FI Ron. You are as much a Marine today as when you first graduated from boot. You always were a straight shooter. I never met you during the past 14 years of our being members of the e-mail Law Enforcement Discussion Group "Badges". Both of us were retired Deputy Sheriff SGT's  you in LALA and me here in GA. GOD Bless your parents too. They gave us the opportunity to know someone who was always ready to assist be it with a phone call or posting some info of interest to the members of the Thin Blue Line. GOD rest your soul Ron. You now patrol the streets of Heaven and we all will meet one day on the parade field as one big family of COPS..

Just heard about Ron, who had been a long time friend through the Internet group and email.  Enjoyed meeting Ron a few years ago in Laughlin and was a great meeting.  We thank Ron for his service at LASO and also his service in the USMC.  A true public servant and patriot.

I am also saddened to hear of Ron's passing. He was a true officer and gentleman. I have in my position a LASD coffee mug he gave to me that I will cherish now more than ever. RIP, Sir!!!

I'm saddened to hear of Ron's passing.  I had the fortune to meet Ron twice, most recently when he was a gracious host to show off the Las Vegas area to us.  Couldn't ask for a nicer guy and a true patriot.  Rest in Peace, my friend.  To say that you will be missed seems so inadequate.
