She is predeceased by her loving husband, Robert Arthur Kauder. She is survived by daughters, Jacqueline Patricia Kauder (Kevin) Ofenloch and Katherine Anne Kauder; grandson, Patrick Kevin Ofenloch (Kelly) , and grandson Daniel Dicken (Chantal) and granddaughter, Linda (Mark) and great grandsons, Steele and Elias.
She was a Veterans of World War 2, serving as a member of the U.S. Cadet Nursing Corps.
She worked as a surgical nurse in Oklahoma while her husband was training for the U.S Army.
While Robert was fighting in Korea, she worked as a Surgical Nurse for the Union Pacific Railroad Hospital.
She was a member of Girl Scouts of Nevada, receiving their greatest honor, the Thanks Badge. She was a member of Homemakers, a ladies group under the auspices of the Cooperative Extension Council.
Rose traveled with her family to Kwajalein in the Marshall Islands in 1960, arriving in Hawaii just before statehood. A year later they were transferred to Fort Huachuca, Arizona, again stopping in Hawaii just after statehood.
