Rose Marie Shahan

Rose Marie Shahan, 69, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away on July 25, 2026. Born on March 9, 1957, in Iowa to Allen and Viola Shahan, Rose Marie later moved to Las Vegas, where she graduated from Rancho High School.

Rose will be remembered with respect and gratitude for the steady presence she brought to those who knew her. In the quiet rhythms of everyday life, she found meaning and comfort—whether working through a crossword puzzle, crocheting with patient care, or enjoying a game of Canasta with her daughter. Above all, she cherished time spent with her grandson and granddaughter, moments that reflected the deep value she placed on family and togetherness.

Rose was preceded in death by her parents, Allen and Viola Shahan, and her sister, Cindy Lindsay.

She is survived by her daughter, Rachel Styers; her son-in-law, Jermaine Smith; her grandson, Justin; her granddaughter, Danielle; her sister, Denise; her brother, Sam; sister-in-law, Allison; and several nieces and nephews.

She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
