Rosemarie Gomez, 72, was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend to many. She is survived by her three children; grandchild; and great-grandchild. A generous spirit, she always put others before herself. She had the uncanny skill of making new friends anywhere she went. She loved the Lord and right now she's probably telling him long-winded stories of how proud she is of her family. She laid down the cares of the world Nov. 22, 2012 and is now forever at peace. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 1, at Palm Mortuary-Downtown, 1325 N. Main St.
