Ruby Jean Brantley, 70, of North Las Vegas, passed away Jan. 27, 2011. She was born April 25, 1940, the second eldest of 11 children, was raised in Fordyce, Ark., and resided in Clark County for the past 49 years. Ruby is survived by her beloved husband, of 47 years, Allen Dexter Brantley; three sons, Keith (Kim), Allen Jr., and Ulysses Gerard (Desiree); one grandson, Aaron; brothers, Dwight and Rex Jimerson; and sisters, Marie Irving and Tina Jimerson. Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Lottie (Cromwell) Jimerson. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 2. Memorial service honoring her life will be at noon Thursday, Feb. 3, both at Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St.
