Always full of surprises, Ryan passed away unexpectedly on May 3, 2025, at the University Medical Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, after a period of health challenges. He was supported by the love of family and friends throughout his journey.
Ryan’s good humor and generous spirit touched everyone he met. Ryan approached life with a sense of adventure - Whether carving fresh tracks on his snowboard, riding an ATV on a mountain trail or cheering on his team at the sportsbook; he was always ready for adventure. Ryan sometimes faced what felt like overwhelming odds but he never let life’s challenges hold him back from loving life.
Ever the life of the party, Ryan was always very clear a party should be held upon his death. In fulfillment of that wish, all who knew Ryan are welcome to attend his celebration of life at his family’s home after the service and encouraged to share their favorite memories just as he would have wanted.
Ryan is survived by his loving family, including his father, Donald Mark Bivins (Theresa), and brothers David and Steven, as well as relatives from his mother’s side. He was preceded in death by his mother Tammi Jon Bivins.
In lieu of flowers the family is asking that donations be made to the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation Nevada Chapter.
A funeral service for Ryan will be held Monday, May 19, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Canyon Ridge Christian Church, 6200 W Lone Mountain Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89130.
