Monday, December 15, 2014 at 2:05AM grandma Sally slipped into glory, at 77 she was too young. She was born in 1937, was married to Bill for 60 years, had 2 children, 5 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild. She had a beautiful singing voice, which passed on to me and my mother. She won competitive roller skating medals of bronze and silver, and 2nd place in an international bowling championship and loved to play mahjong. She was among the first super mom's, juggling full time job and housework to make a home for her family. For over 5 years grandma "gramma" fought this cancer with the help of family, friends, and physicians as long as she could. While under hospital care and in great pain, she was apologizing to the nurses for" being so much trouble." Alas the Jewish matriarch who was everybody's boss and completely unafraid to speak her mind, also had a heart filled with tenderness and care. Grandma "gramma" we are so thankful for the legacy of family that you built. We promise to carry on your legacy of love and caring. All who knew you will miss you, but God's got you now. So as you would say "put in a good word for us."
