Sam J Magro, age 59, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away on September 12, 2013 from a heart attack.

The viewing, visitation and funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at

Palm Mortuary located at

1600 S. Jones Boulevard

Las Vegas, NV 89146.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Palm Mortuary, Phone (702) 464-8420. Pastor Craig Michaelson, of Faith Community Lutheran Church, will be officiating the service.

The viewing and visitation will be held from 10:00 am until 11:00 am

The funeral service will be held from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm.

The reception will follow at the Renno Residence from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm.Sam was born in Chicago, Illinois on December 4, 1953. He graduated from Northern Illinois University in 1975 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications

Sam was married to Sandra Magro on August 10, 2012. They were together for 11 years.

Sam worked as a Security Officer and Dispatcher for University Medical Center for 8 years.

He enjoyed collecting and watching movies as well as collecting and listening to music. Sam most enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and making everyone laugh. He loved having a good time and getting everyone to have a good time together.

Sam is survived by his wife Sandra Magro, his mother, Irene Magro, daughter Rosemarie Renno, Son-In-Law Roy Renno and grandchildren Keenan and Kaeden Renno.
