Samuel Kent Rexing

Sam was born on September 30, 1955. He shared his life with his wife, Debbie Rexing, and together they built a family that meant everything to him. Sam and Debbie would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on October 9, 2026.

Sam was an entrepreneur and hardworking owner of an electrical contracting business. He took great pride in his work and always enjoyed having a project to keep him busy. Whether it was something for work, around the house, or simply something that needed to be figured out, Sam was always ready to take it on.

Above all else, Sam was a family man. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren, traveling, and working on any and all projects. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, incredible work ethic, positive outlook, and devotion to his family. The time he spent with his grandchildren was especially important to him, and the memories they made together will continue to be treasured.

Sam is survived by his wife, Debbie Rexing; his children, Matthew Rexing and his wife, Sabrena; Johanna White and her husband, Justin; Elizabeth Comstock and her husband, Ryan; and Andrew Rexing and his wife, Cathleen.

He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren, Lilliana Comstock, Addilyn Comstock, Lucas Rexing, Daxton Rexing, Logan White, Reagan Rexing, Audrey White, and Andrew Rexing Jr., as well as his siblings, Theodore Rexing, Nicholas Rexing, Christopher Rexing, Sandra Faulker, Deanna DeLaNoy, and Joyce Stein, along with many extended family members and friends.

Sam was preceded in death by his parents, Jeannine and Leonard Wilke.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 25, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Las Vegas Catholic Church. Burial will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Palm Northwest Mortuary & Cemetery, followed by a celebration lunch at Palm.

Sam’s presence in his family can never be replaced. His humor, strength, hard work, positivity, and love for his family will live on through the people who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
