A visitation and celebration of life service will be held from 4-8 p.m., Wednesday, June 11, at Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., for Mrs. Sandra L. Taylor, long-time executive assistant for the Southern Nevada Homebuilders Assn. Mrs. Taylor passed away suddenly Wednesday, June 4, after a short illness.
Mrs. Taylor moved to Las Vegas from St. Louis, MO, with her family in 1994 and joined the staff of Del Webb Corp. as that company completed the build-out of Sun City Summerlin. However, she always retained her passionate fandom for the St. Louis Cardinals of Major League Baseball and the St. Louis Blues of the National Hockey League. In retirement, she devoted countless hours to her favorite hobbies, creating original jewelry, counted cross stitch, interior decorating of her home and spending as much time as possible with grandson, Iain.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Jack, sons Christian and Daniel, daughter Margaret and grandson Iain Taylor. Funeral services will be held in St. Louis, MO with internment in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Florissant, MO.
