She was born on December 27, 1921, in Mansfield, Ohio, to Charles H. and Gladys McFadden.
She is survived by her two sons Stephen Freiheit (Louise) and Walter Bailey (Diane), five grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 3 great, great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Joseph J. Freiheit, her brothers James E. and Charles J. McFadden, her sister Kathryn Murdock, and her beloved daughter Barbara.
She retired from Clark County Clerk's Office and Public Defender's Office in 1983.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, November 12, 2016, at 11:00a.m. at the First Baptist Church, 4400 West Oakey Blvd. in Las Vegas. Burial will be held in Ohio. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in her memory to the Alzheimer's Association or the Fist Baptist Church.
