We think of Shirley so often!! Just mentioned her the day before the reminder came of the 4 year mark!  xxoo

I sure miss you, mom. But I've seen how you live on in those whose hearts and lives you touched. So many of them. I smile now more than I cry when I think of you. The other night as I was drifting off to sleep, I heard a whisper say 'I sure love you'. ❤️  thank you for that.  You live on, mom... you live on.

Isn't it strange how some people leave such an impression? Although I left Las Vegas 10 years ago, I've often remembered certain people for their incredible personality and spirit. For some reason, Shirley kept coming to mind so I googled her only to learn of her passing. She was a blessing. R.I.P.

Mrs Coffman was one of my favorite clients, she would arrive at her appointment exited and with good expectations. I love how much she looked forward to come and get her hair done. 
I love to see the bond between her and her daughter Jenean! Also her love for her grandkids and their love for her was something very beautiful to see. 
Thank you Jenean and kids for letting me take care of your beautiful Shirley, she will always be remembered! She left this earth knowing how much she was loved and that’s so special!! Be strong because you all know that that’s her wish, for you all to keep moving forward with strength, passion and Love always. ❤️

Shirley was my mother in-laws very best friend 
there was a reason for that.  They were both the best mothers ANYONE could ever have. Both of them were pistols and fun and funny. But ... boy they were the rock of their families.  
they are watching over all of us. and leave BIG holes in our hearts and life’s   
together again still watching over us ...because that’s just what they do !! Love you Shirley

It was such an honor to get to know and love, Momma Coffman. She was a beautiful, loving and kind person who welcomed me into her family.  I enjoyed our time together, although far too short.  She had an infectious smile that lit the room and a positive energy  that surrounded her. I would often joke with her, how could such a fine, wonderful person give birth to Bob? I know she is still laughing as I sit here and am left to figure it out.  Forever in my heart and much love. Rest in paradise, Momma Coffman. 

Mama, I so miss you , you were and always will be my strength . “ your my girl” I used to say to you, and I meant every word. I always loved to make you laugh, your beautiful smile always brought me great joy. I know without a doubt your with the Lord, and with Dad. I feel kinda lost without our phone conversations daily and visits at your and nini’s house. You were my best friend & the best person I have ever known. Dear Grammy, I have nothing but the best memories of you!  You always treated me like your own grandchild and I loved every second.  I enjoyed every trip to vegas that I got to visit with you.  My kids grew up on your cinnamon rolls  lol  I hate that we cant gave a proper memorial for you.   You deserve a big ol party!  You, my dear, touched many lives and left an astounding impact on each of them.  I love and appreciate all your love and kind words you always had for me.  For Bob, Nini, Craig and all the grandkids,  I am so sorry for your loss.  What a beautiful example you had.  Thank you for sharing her❤❤❤

Thank you for everything you did for me and my family..  we didn't get to see each other often and when we did it was because of our shared love for Jenean..  but I want you to know how special those few moments were..  thank you for the wonderful lady you were..  all my love to your family

I remember her so well even tho it’s been over 40 years! She was a fierce lady with the greatest smile~
We walked to your house from Lexington in the pouring rain and were a couple of drowned rats by the time we got there! She insisted we get out of our wet clothes and forced NyQuil down our throats to keep us from getting sick! Then, cinnamon rolls!!! ♥️🥰♥️

I have been holding it together better than I thought I would have. But as I write this, I am a blubbering mess... There simply is no way on earth or heaven to write down what my mom meant to me and the memories I hold of her. I still walk through the house doing things and talking to her...responding back as if she has responded to me. I am unsure how to do life without her present. She was my best friend. She knew every part of me..the good and the bad. She loved my kids like no other person did. they were there for her.  Made her laugh and smile in the face of pain and questions. I feel her within my cells. She is in me and I am with her.
