Shirley Mae Hatfield-Schuler, age 74, of Las Vegas, a retired server, passed away Friday, February 14, 2014 in Las Vegas. Born September 20, 1939 in Vincennes, Indiana to Ruby and Daniel Hatfield, she had been a Las Vegas resident for over 35 years. Survivors include her nephews Donald, Tony, Timothy and Daniel and her dog, Doodle. Shirley lived life on her own terms and enjoyed traveling. She enjoyed making ginger bread houses and peanut brittle. A Celebration of Life will be held for Shirley on Saturday, April 5, 2014 from 10am until 12pm inside the Palm Hospitality Center, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Shirley loved her dogs and expressed that love to everyone. In preserving her legacy, contributions in Shirley's name are suggested to your local Humane Society or your Catholic Church. She will be missed by all her friends and family.
