She is survived by her sons, John (Jane-d), James (Fran), and Joseph (Kim); Grandchildren, Jeff, Janelle, Jill, Jason and Madeleine; and Great grandchildren, Brennan, Gavin, Nolan, and Wesley.

She was a supervisor for United Air Lines in Chicago for 19 years and a Real Estate and New Accounts manager for 2 Las Vegas Banks.
In 1953, Shirley met her lifelong love Jack Popp, at a USO sponsored dance on the roof of a YMCA. They wed in 1954 and were blessed with three sons. She dedicated her life to being a fantastic mother, and a wonderful grandmother and great-grandmother, starting with supporting her boys in their activities, most notably as a band booster when they lived in Lockport, IL, and constantly through her adult sons’ lifetimes and family commitments.
Shirley loved Las Vegas, from early visits to family and United Air Lines Holiday parties in the 1960s and 70s, to all the fun times and new friends made after she and Jack moved to LV permanently in 1979. She loved playing Bingo with friends and celebrated the occasional royal flush on the video poker machines.
Shirley had a strong and personal relationship with our Lord, Jesus Christ with whom she now shares eternity.
