Miss Si’Arra Renee’ Ellis was born in Little Rock, Arkansas to Jonathan Ellis and Christina Ellis on June 28, 2002. She attended schools in Colorado, California, and Nevada. She graduated from Helen J Stewart Special Education School. She volunteered her time by helping seniors who lived in nursing homes while she attended school. She received multiple honors, awards, and achievements while attending school.
Si'Arra enjoyed trying to dance while listening to music. Her favorite song was "Happy" by Pharrell Williams. Her favorite color was purple. She loved all foods and was not shy to ask for seconds and thirds, please. She enjoyed spending time in the kitchen with us while we cooked and listened to Al Green. She loved watching court shows (Judge Mathis, Judge Judy, and Hot Bench) as well as Cops and Live PD, which had us questioning if she was a Judge, attorney, or cop in another life. She enjoyed watching football with us and cheering for whatever team we cheered for.
Her favorite movie was "Radio". She loved life and everyone in the world. She was a free spirited young lady whose spirit was too big for her body.
Si’Arra is preceded in death by two Grandfathers, Marquette Bradley and Jimmy Ellis; two Aunts Shakia Bates and Keisha Bradley; and one Uncle, Martaious Bradley.
Si’Arra is survived by her parents Jonathan Ellis and Christina Ellis; two sisters, Beyonce’ Ellis and Selena Ellis; one brother Jaheim Ellis. Two Grandmothers, Versie Bradley and Ruby Ellis; six Aunts; a generation of cousins and extended family.
The family of Si’Arra wishes to extend our sincere thanks to very special neighbors who made sure that she stayed safe, her beauticians who kept her looking flawless, her doctors who kept her in the best possible health, the entire staff of Helen J Stewart Special Education and her bus drivers at CCSD Transportation.
