Socorro Garcia

Socorro Garcia passed away February, 27, 2025, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Soco was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, Tia and a beautiful soul who would help anyone. Her generous nature lit up any room she entered. She enjoyed cooking family dinners and finding a reason to celebrate. She truly mastered the art of gift giving.

Although Soco is gone, she will live in our hearts forever. And live through her legacy she left behind.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years Javier; her children, Veronica Howard and husband Adam, Javier Garcia and wife Jenny, Celene Sage and husband Matt; grandchildren, Camden (11), Luna (9), Javi (9) and Hazel (7); sister, Rosa Saldivar and brothers Sergio, Jose and Luis Carlos Saldivar and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her parents, Jose Isaac and Socorro Saldivar; brothers Jesus and Jorge Saldivar; parents in law Leopoldo and Maria Garcia.

A visitation for Socorro will be held Thursday, March 6, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Palm Mortuary - Downtown, 1325 North Main St, Las Vegas, NV 89101. A funeral service will occur Thursday, March 6, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 1325 North Main St, Las Vegas, NV 89101. A committal service will occur Thursday, March 6, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Palm Downtown Mortuary & Cemetery, 1325 N Main St, Las Vegas, NV 89101.
