Soloman was born to Solomon Sr. and Katie B. Perry in Ferriday, Louisiana. He had four brothers and two sisters. Five predeceased him; Archie Sr., Clarence “Jack King,” Willie Marcus Berta, Lela M. Wesson. The surviving brother, Shelby Perry. His mother and father also predeceased him. He had a host of loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. Solomon was also part of the Blind Center for years until his health started declining. Solomon had a strong belief and faith in God. He was born with a gift of music. He was active in Second Baptist Church where he loved to serve the lord. He would always love to encourage everyone and let him know that they were going to heaven. Those who knew Solomon will remember his smile and encouragement his deep-rooted faith in Jesus. And his wavering commitment to spread love and kindness to everyone he encountered. He had a rare gift for making others smile and laugh, leaving a lasting impact on all who crossed his path. He also was one of the pianists at the Second Baptist Church. On October 23rd the lord called Solomon from Labor to reward. You will definitely be missed. Thank you for the love you gave everyone you met. Sleep on my brother, take your rest.
